Leading international marketing and communications agency DDA has bolstered its senior leadership team with the strategic appointment of Keith Iddins. A recognized veteran of the luxury hospitality and entertainment sectors with more than three decades of industry experience, Iddins steps into the newly created role of travel relationship director for the company’s DDA Travel and Logistics (Live) division.
In his new capacity, Iddins will work to further develop and expand DDA’s comprehensive hospitality and travel service offerings. He brings to the firm a wealth of deep-rooted expertise cultivated through extensive professional collaborations with some of the world’s most prestigious hotel groups, including the Dorchester Collection, Maybourne, and Oetker. Within the company’s organizational structure, Iddins will report directly to Daniel Starmer, the vice president of DDA’s Live arm.
Beyond driving the expansion of the agency’s travel services, Iddins is slated to take over critical responsibilities regarding hotel logistics from longtime DDA executive Caroline Warburton. Warburton, who recently served as the CEO of DDA Event Management, is preparing for her well-earned retirement at the end of 2027. This deliberate, long-range transition marks a significant generational shift for the agency as it prepares for the future while honoring a foundational legacy.
The leadership team at DDA—comprising partners Lawrence Atkinson, Dana Archer, and Neil Bhatt—spoke warmly of Warburton’s immense contributions to the agency and the broader entertainment landscape over the past thirty years. Together, the partners praised her enduring impact, noting that her professional reputation remains entirely unmatched across the industry. They emphasized that her stellar career reflects decades of exceptional leadership as well as the profound trust and genuine affection she has earned from colleagues, corporate partners, and high-profile clients alike.
In outlining their strategic planning for Warburton’s eventual departure, the partners expressed immense enthusiasm for welcoming Iddins into the fold. Because Iddins has spent years working alongside DDA as a trusted partner through his previous leadership roles at premier global hotels, agency leadership feels he is uniquely positioned to build upon Warburton’s remarkable legacy and guide the division into its next chapter of growth.
Warburton’s storied journey with DDA began in 1997 when she was originally recruited by Dennis Davidson. Starting as a coordinator within what was then known as DDA’s Market Services division, Warburton quickly proved herself to be an indispensable asset. Over the course of three decades, she became the absolute central pillar of the company’s international festival and market operations. From the high-stakes environment of the Cannes Film Festival to the bustling corridors of the Toronto International Film Festival, she has overseen high-level events, complex logistical operations, and luxury hospitality coordination for leading companies across the global entertainment industry.
The creation of Iddins’ new role and the impending transition of logistical duties follow closely on the heels of DDA’s recent acquisition of DDA Event Management and its subsequent full integration into DDA’s broader Live division. This organizational consolidation streamlines the agency’s operational capabilities, bringing together event production, logistics, and specialized travel management under a unified corporate banner.
Reflecting on this structural integration and her own upcoming retirement, Warburton noted that the transition feels entirely natural given how closely the two entities have operated for years. She expressed complete confidence in the future of the agency, emphasizing that both the exceptional staff and the roster of clients will be in the very best possible hands as Daniel Starmer guides the business area forward. While acknowledging that she will step away from daily operations, Warburton shared her excitement to watch from afar as the company continues to thrive and innovate for decades to come.
Daniel Starmer, vice president of DDA Live, echoed these sentiments, explaining that the agency had been actively searching for the right individual to consolidate and further develop DDA’s expanding work within the specialized travel sector. He noted that Iddins’ extensive background, high-level industry reputation, and deep understanding of luxury hospitality align perfectly with the company’s forward-looking strategic goals.
Starmer further highlighted that DDA feels uniquely positioned in the marketplace due to its comprehensive capability to anticipate and look after the wide-ranging, complex needs of clients as they activate, produce, and operate events all around the world. Expressing his enthusiasm for the road ahead, Starmer noted that the team is fully focused on building upon Warburton’s extraordinary legacy as they steadily head toward the upcoming 2027 season of major international film festivals and beyond.
For his part, Keith Iddins expressed deep gratitude for the opportunity to join the agency on a permanent basis after years of fruitful collaboration from the outside. Having interacted with DDA and its roster of clients on numerous occasions throughout his extensive career—noting that many professionals in the field actually began their journeys at DDA—Iddins remarked that stepping into this internal role feels particularly special to him. He added that throughout his professional life, he has always cherished being directly in the trenches of a project, diving deep into the intricate behind-the-scenes work required to successfully bring a major live event to life.
This strategic executive appointment arrives during a period of sustained, dynamic growth for DDA as a whole. Over the past couple of years, the independent marketing and communications powerhouse—which currently maintains a robust staff of 175 professionals distributed across international offices in Los Angeles, New York, London, and Dubai—has aggressively expanded its service offerings and global footprint. In the United States, DDA successfully established dedicated U.S. Film and Series Publicity and Creative Services divisions based out of New York. In the Middle East, the agency launched its first regional office through a strategic joint venture with Dubai-based brand publicity specialist Sophie Toh. Meanwhile, in London, the firm established a specialized live content division designed to work seamlessly alongside its existing pillars of live event production, social media content production, and its in-house design and creative teams.
